Week 4 - Food

Cindy-Peoria:  Who says you can't play with your food?

Nadia - Phoenix: My mom's friend made this amazing fruit cake, yum!

Simone-NYC: One of the best perks to living in NYC is the abundance of
ethnic foods available here. This is Okonomiyaki-a savory Japanese
pancake filled with different ingredients. Amazing!

Vanessa - Panama city: My Favorite salad at office...
but what I never sacrificed is the dessert; the little brown bowl in the right :)

Clifford - San Jose, Costa Rica: I was in the Dominican Republic this week, and the food was fantastic as always! Here: Mofongo & Presidente.

Week 3 - Architecture

Nadia - Phoenix: Night view of the bridge at Tempe Town Lake

Melinda - Buenos Aires:  beautiful domed brick ceiling at a friend's home in Saltillo, MX

Cindy-Peoria:  St. Mary's Cathedral first opened
it's doors in 1889.

Jennifer - Toronto:  The Royal Ontario Museum

Tatiana - Prague: Renaissance architecture & Gothic architecture at 7am

Vanessa - Panama city: "Tornillo" building; opened at the end of 2011

Simone-NYC: Brooklyn Bridge

Clifford - Costa Rica: The best "architecture" we have here is all natural! Today I went to Volcan Irazu.

Week 2 - Neighborhood




Simone-NYC: Central Park is only 2 blocks away,
so we consider it our "backyard"



Nadia - Phoenix: We are experiencing an unusually cold winter this year.

The playground in our neighborhood is missing its frequent visitors.

Melinda - Buenos Aires:  My neighbourhood in Ontario, Canada



Cindy-Peoria:  The school buses are bringing the kids home from school
in my neighborhood....



Clifford - San Jose:  The view of my neighborhood from my patio.  What I see is the
Central Valley of Costa Rica, and I love it the most when I am done running,
to sit and think for 5 minutes.




Jennifer - Toronto:  I love my neighborhood in North York.

Tatiana - Prague: We live in Vinohrady (The vineyards of the King)

Vanessa - Panama City: We live in front of the ocean in a 27th floor.

Week 1 - New Year Resolutions

Simone-NYC: I hope to attend many more art exhibits this year.
Ann Hamilton-The Event of a Thread @ Park Avenue Armory

Tatiana - Prague: To enjoy the summer holidays and improve health!

Nadia - Phoenix: This isn't the most creative New Years Resolution,
but hopefully it is something I can stick with. 

Melinda - Buenos Aires:

My new year's resolution is to visit some of the glaciers in south America -

 I actually also want to learn to speak Portuguese but that didn't transfer wellto a photo :)



Jennifer - Toronto:  I want to worry less about the number and more about health!
(And to not Photoshop any of my photos --- OOPS, already broken!)



Cindy-Peoria:  My resolution is that I want to learn the advanced features
on the new camera I bought last year.

Clifford - San Jose, Costa Rica: I never make resolutions,
but create and reinforce commitments to choose happiness.
There are so many opportunities ahead,
I want to stay wide awake...

Vanessa - Panama City: Continue learning, discovering, and

enjoying the life with my family, friend and Pets.
